How quote requests reach you

How a customer asks for a price on a service you can't price instantly, and where that request lands for you to work.

Every service has a booking mode: Direct Booking, Request + Estimate, or Quote Only. A customer never sees a request form for a Direct Booking service - they book a real time straight away. The other two modes are what create a quote request.

How a request is created

When a customer submits your booking form for a Quote Only service, or for a Request + Estimate service, the submission is not turned into an instant booking. It is saved as a row you review, with the customer's name, email, phone, service address, the service(s) they selected, and any project description or intake question answers they filled in.

ModeWhat happens on submit
Quote OnlyNo price is shown. The customer's details and answers are saved for you to review and price from scratch.
Request + EstimateA tentative price is shown, but the order still needs your review before it is confirmed - it does not book instantly like Direct Booking.

Where it lands

Service Intake › Quote Requests

Every quote request appears in Service Intake, on the Quote Requests card, with the customer, their contact details, a status and a View action. Opening one shows the full request: customer information, requested service, any answered intake questions, and their message.

Service Intake, Quote Requests. Each row opens to the full request.

What you can do from a request

  • Call, email or chat the customer directly from the request page.
  • Open the linked customer profile if one already exists.
  • Schedule a follow-up reminder so a quote you have not priced yet does not get forgotten.
  • Create an estimate from the request - it carries the customer's details, requested service and answers straight into the estimate builder.
