Sending an estimate does not email a static PDF. It generates a public approval link tied to that estimate's own token, and the customer's entire review-and-accept flow happens on that link - no customer login required.
The approval link
Every estimate gets its own approval token the moment it's created, so the link is ready as soon as you send. Opening it shows the customer the full estimate: your business's branding (the same primary color and font used on your booking page), the line items and total, and an expiry date.
What the customer does
- Open the link and review the estimate.
- Pick a preferred date and time for the work - this has to be chosen before the Accept & Sign button is enabled, since accepting creates the appointment already scheduled.
- Sign to accept, or decline.
- On accept, they're shown a confirmation with their scheduled date and time, and can continue toward payment from the same page.
If the estimate expires or is declined
The expiry date you set when building the estimate is shown to the customer on the approval page. An estimate that's declined is marked Declined on your side so it's easy to tell apart from one still waiting on a response.
