Booking mode belongs to the service, not to your account, so one booking page can sell a flat-rate wash instantly and take a quote request for a roof job at the same time. Set it on the Basic & Request tab of the service editor.

The three modes
| Mode | What the customer sees | What happens next |
|---|---|---|
| Direct Booking | The real computed price. | The slot is taken immediately and the order lands as a confirmed-ready booking. No review needed. |
| Request + Estimate | A tentative price. | They submit a request instead of a final booking. It lands in your intake queue with a linked quote, and any card is authorised, not charged, until you confirm the real number. |
| Quote Only | No price at all. | No slot is taken. You get their answers and photos in a quote request and reply with a real estimate. |
Mixed orders
A customer can add a Direct Booking service and a Quote Only service to the same order. The form itemises both, takes a slot and payment for the bookable part, and files the quote-only part as a separate request for you to price.
Sending large jobs to a quote automatically
A service that is normally Direct Booking or Request + Estimate can still be routed to a quote automatically. On the Add-ons & Rules tab, quote-trigger rules can send an order to a quote when a condition is met — for example area over 5,000 sq ft, or a specific surface combined with a larger size — so you don't have to set the whole service to Quote Only just to catch the occasional oversized job.
Consultations and meetings
A service can be marked as a consultation. Customers just pick a time slot — no service address is collected, since there's no job site. A separate switch can also generate a Google Calendar event with a video-meeting link when that service is booked; turn it on per service, it isn't automatic just because the service is a consultation.
