Where Jobber is the better choice

Questions

Is Servetic actually cheaper than Jobber?

Billed monthly, yes, and the gap grows with your crew. Servetic is $29 a month for one person on Starter, $49 for up to three on Growth, and $10 for each extra user after that. Jobber Core is $49 a month for one user plus $29 for each additional user, so a three-person crew is $49 a month on Servetic Growth and $107 on Jobber Core (Jobber pricing page, verified 21 September 2026). If you prepay Jobber for a year its monthly equivalent drops, so compare against how you would actually pay. And compare the plan that holds the features you need: if you need route optimisation, your Jobber price is the Grow plan at $199 a month, because Servetic does not have it at all.

What does Jobber do better than Servetic?

Several things, and they are not small. Jobber is a mature product with more than a decade of production use behind it. It has an app marketplace and a partner ecosystem that Servetic has no equivalent of. Its accounting sync is automatic, goes deeper than ours and includes Xero. Its support and onboarding are better staffed. Its brand carries weight with lenders, insurers and franchisors. And it has route optimisation on the Grow plan, which Servetic does not offer at any price.

Does Servetic do instant booking as well as quoting?

Yes, and that is the core of the difference. Each service decides how it sells: book instantly at a real price, take a request you confirm, or collect details for a quote. When the price is known - a fixed-price clean, a sized driveway, a per-square-foot job with a measurement behind it - the customer picks a real slot and it is confirmed at that price, with a deposit if you want one. When it is not, the same page takes a request and you send a priced estimate for online approval. Both land as one scheduled job, then an invoice, then a payment.

How does the QuickBooks sync compare?

Servetic includes QuickBooks Online on Growth at $49 a month; Jobber's starts on Connect at $139. That is the price side. On depth, Jobber is ahead: its sync is automatic and carries payments, refunds, tips, payouts and timesheets, where Servetic's is run by hand from Settings and sends customers and invoices only. If your bookkeeper reconciles payments inside QuickBooks, that difference matters more than the price.

Can I use my own Stripe, Square or PayPal account?

On Servetic, yes - you connect the account you already have, and money settles to you on that provider's normal schedule at its normal rates. Servetic never holds your funds. Jobber's pricing page lists its own card processing at 2.9% + 30¢; we have not verified whether you can connect a different processor there.

Can I move my customers and jobs across from Jobber?

Export your customer list from Jobber and bring it into Servetic; most operators start by loading customers and their service list, and running new work in Servetic while jobs already booked in Jobber finish out there. There is no one-click Jobber importer, and we are not going to describe one that does not exist. On the Business plan we help with the CSV import. Old job records and paid invoices are worth keeping in Jobber, or exported to file, rather than rebuilt.

Who should stay on Jobber?

Anyone whose day depends on traffic-aware route optimisation, which Servetic does not have. Anyone who needs a fully released Xero sync today, or an automatic accounting sync that includes payments. Anyone relying on a marketplace app Servetic does not offer. Anyone who wants the depth of onboarding and support a larger company can staff. And anyone whose work is entirely quote-first with nothing that could be booked instantly - they would be buying the half of Servetic that is not the reason to switch.
